Warranty Policy
All products CE shop sold carry 12 Months Manufacturer Limited Warranty from date of invoice except as otherwise indicated or advertised. CE shop acts as an agent to return some defective products to the original manufacturer for warranty claim unless the manufacturer has a direct warranty option to the customer. Then, customers to contact the manufacture directly. A list of manufacturer contacts for warranty and support is available through this link…. Warranty is provided solely on products sold by CE shop. Other faulty products used in conjunction that are not purchased from CE shop will not be covered under warranty. Any product sold by CE shop is meant to be professionally installed; improper installation is NOT covered under warranty. Please seek professional assistance if deem necessary. CE shop will also apply a tamper proof warranty sticker to the back of the case in every system built as to assure quality control is in place. Removal of this warranty sticker will void warranty claims. Customers should be able to verify their computer components in the system via software without opening up the case. When a CE shop system is deemed faulty we require that systems be returned to us with the warranty sticker still attached. CE shop does NOT cover any software installation issues e.g. drivers or system software updates for any computer where CE shop did not install the software originally. Should any warranty claims arise where software is at fault, installed by the customer, standard charges will apply. CE shop will NOT be liable in any way for incidental, consequential or indirect loss resulting from faulty systems or parts. CE shop is not responsible for any data loss; backing up of data is the responsibility of the customer prior returning an item to us. CE shop does not provide a backup or data recovery service when sending hard disks for warranty claims. Hard drives sent for warranty are always replaced with a new/refurbished unit. Warranty will be rejected for any non-manufacturing defects, if the item is found to be mishandled, modified, tampered, abused, physically damaged, improperly installed and used, or damaged caused by power surges, electrical faults and lightning strikes. Products returned that show evidence of user induced damage, over clocking, tampering or modification, will be denied. This includes improper installation of the CPU heat sink, scratches on motherboard, failure of fan/heat sink, broken or damaged, parts, cutting of cables or the soldering of components. All shipping charges for product returned to CE shop incurred in a warranty claim will be at the expense of the customer. CE shop will only pay for the return freight to the customer except for rejected warranty and no fault found returns. Products returns for warranty claim should be considered as fragile in transit thus should be packed with their original packaging. CE SHOP shall have no liability for any damage caused during or as a result of transit Turnaround time for warranty returns may depend on the availability of the replacement product from manufacturer. CE shop will keep customer update on the progress of warranty returns via email corresponding. If in an event warranty returns are test with no-fault-found. CE shop reserves the right to charge a maximum labour fee of $50 per product for time spent on verification and testing the product. CE shop will not be responsible for keeping any warranty returns that are unclaimed or have not been picked up for more than 6 months. Customer must always provide a valid contact detail.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS The following are not covered under Warranty: 1. Any product that has not been installed in accordance with the installation instruction supplied by the equipment manufacturer. 2. Any product that is repaired or altered by anyone other than authorised CE shop service personnel or by our authorise agent, where products disassembled or repaired in such a manner that performance or functionality is affected. 3. Any product that fails or is damaged as a result of improper storage, operation under abnormal conditions misuse, neglect, abuse, accident. Short circuiting the equipment will be considered misuse and will cause the product not to be covered by the warranty. 4. Accessories and consumable goods such as keyboard, mouse and joystick if they are a result of heavy use, or shows sign of normal wear and tear. 5. Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from the connection or attachment to the product that has not been approved by the manufacturer for connection or attachment to the product. 6. Any defect or damage caused by or resulting from improper installation or defective functioning of software or virus infection. 7. Defects or damage due to spills of liquid or other substances (water damage, dust,), excessive temperature or humidity and environmental conditions. 8. Aesthetic or surface damage or scratches to all plastic surfaces and other external parts damaged due to normal customer use. 9. Any product or part thereof which has suffered through alteration or defacement of the serial number or warranty seals as such where an unauthorised service personnel opening the product.
RETURNS POLICY
1. For all CE Shop repair/replacement warranty, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained from us via email/telephone. Returned items without an approval (RMA) from CE shop will not be processed.
2. Please select your goods carefully prior placing order or request for information by placing a product inquiry before purchasing as we do not accept returns for refunds, credit or exchanges based on change of mind, incorrectly ordered, incompatible or unsuitable goods. Returns under this category will be at CE shop’s discretion and may attract a restocking fee which is fixed at the current market value less 30%
3. CE shop shall have no liability for any damage caused during or as a result of transit. Upon receiving the return from customer, CE shop will examine and test for the defect, If CE shop cannot reproduce the same fault indicated by the buyer, the return will not be accepted and the return shipping cost will be borne by customers.
4. All return shipments from CE shop will be via ground shipping method or the equivalent subject to be determined by CE shop. In the event of returning the product, customer is fully responsible for the product’s safe return to us. Item must be received within 7 working days and by insured post.
5. The return merchandise should include the RMA number that was issued by CE shop, order number, full name, shipping address, contact phone number, and the reason for return. Return merchandise should be boxed and well packed. Any missing parts, damaged items or inappropriate information will not be accepted.
6. CE shop offer DOA (Dead on Arrival) implies that the product either cannot be turned on or be ready in use after taking out of the box. Customer must report this situation to CE shop within 24 hours of receipt. Claims after this period will be considered voided. No further exception will be considered about the time issue. The 24 hours period starts from the time recorded as "delivered" in the courier service’s tracking system. CE shop will replace or repair a DOA item, In the event that a replacement or repair cannot be made due to product unavailability or any other technical reason, CE shop will issue a refund in full including the original shipping charges.
7. In the event the product is not DOA upon verified and tested by our technician, CE shop reserves the right to charge a fee of $AUD 50 and the shipping charges for the returned of the products will be at customer expense.
8. We do not accept any returns of any opened and used products that may breach the health & safety regulations such as headsets, ear pieces and headphones, unless the item is faulty.
